Commercial fires can lead to injured employees, damaged equipment and the possibility of the business closing.

Commercial buildings should be equipped with a sprinkler system. These systems are one important factor that improves fire safety in the workplace.

Here are some of the requirements by the National Fire Protection association for commercial sprinkler systems.

1) Any new building with a fire area of more than 5000 sq. ft. must have a sprinkler system

2) Buildings higher than 55 ft. must have a sprinkler system.

3) Water supply valves should be accessible for operation.

4) If possible fire pumps should be located in separate building.

SERVPRO of Bullitt & N. Nelson counties understands there is never a good time for a fire to effect a business. We know how important it is to get the business back to operations and we are always here to help in the event of a commercial fire.
